The one knife to have
If you can only afford one decent knife, this one's a good choice. The serrated blade performs every job with ease, from the thinnest slices of tomato or lunch meat to the toughest artisan bread. It's strong, inflexible and sturdy, the 6 inch blade makes it far more versatile than the length of a paring knife and it's extremely sharp. I have a selection of knives, but until the addition of this one, I didn't realize how incomplete my collection was. Suddenly it's the one I reach for all the time.
I use this knife for everything
Like another reviewer stated, this is the one knife to have. It is light with a nice grip, and after two years of use still just as sharp as ever.
It delicately can slice through just about anything with ease and despite being called a "salami" knife, I am not embarrassed to admit I use it as my everyday, everything knife.
I highly recommend this knife, or any knives from the Wustof classic collection!
my salami knife
I am very happy with the Wusthof 6" Salami knife I ordered. It is exactly as described. It came promptly and shipped perfectly. With the Wusthof name I'm sure I'll have this knife for many years to come.
