Seconds rather than first quality Waterford
I ordered 3 sets of 4 Waterford Lismore roly poly old fashions from Amazon. Almost everyone in the shipment had obvious defects. At first I thought I was scrutinizing too closely, but asked my daughter-in-law and she agreed. The flaws are like little flags jutting out from grooves on some glasses, lead "spots" on some of them. etc....the flaws on one are not necessarily the same as the next glass.
I still want to receive 3 sets of 4 to a box of FIRST QUALITY Waterford Lismore roly poly old fashions. I am at a loss to know if I re-order will they be the same. I have seen these OF's in the stores, and they do NOT have these flaws. How can I get Amazon to personally determine a replacement will be first quality and not seconds? What a disappointment.
Exceeded My Expectations!
These glasses are perfection! They arrived very quickly in their orginal sealed Waterford box. I am happy to say they are the first pieces in my Waterford Crystal collection!

My husband got a set of 4 as a wedding gift and loves them. He uses them every night and they have been very durable - we run them through the dishwasher and don't really treat them with any special love and haven't had a single problem. (and we're the kind of people that break nice wineglasses regularly). These are awesome - they look elegant, have a nice feel and no special care.
We ordered sets from Amazon as gifts for family this year and have not had the quality problems another reviewer mentioned. I was worried about it, but I checked each glass and they are all just perfect. The amazon price for these is also pretty good. I checked around everywhere including the waterford outlet and everyone was at the same price - except with Amazon no tax or shipping.
